I didn’t relapse because I didn’t want sobriety.
I relapsed because I didn’t have structure after rehab.
When I left treatment, the support stopped the moment I walked out the door.
I wasn’t drinking or using — but I wasn’t building a life either.
I tried to find my place in traditional recovery spaces.
I respected them, but they didn’t fit who I was or how I moved through the world.
I was sober — and still lost.

THE GAP NO ONE TALKS ABOUT
Most recovery systems focus on stopping the behaviour.
Very few focus on rebuilding the man.
After rehab, I had too much time, not enough direction, and no framework for discipline, purpose, or identity.
What I needed wasn’t more meetings — it was structure.
Structure for my mind.
Structure for my body.
Structure for how I lived each day.

what actually worked
My recovery changed when I stopped asking, “How do I stay sober?”
And started asking, “What kind of man am I becoming?”
I rebuilt my life around:
Mind — clear thinking, emotional regulation, self-honesty
Body — training, routine, physical strength and resilience
Spirit — meaning, values, time in nature, personal responsibility
Tribe — men who tell the truth, show up, and hold the line together
Not theory. Not slogans.
Daily practices, discipline, and accountability.

WHY PRIMAL RECOVERY EXISTS
Primal Recovery exists for men who:
Want sobriety but don’t feel aligned with traditional programmes
Feel disconnected, unstructured, or stuck after treatment
Know there’s more to recovery than “just not using”
This isn’t about fixing broken men.
It’s about building strong ones.

MY ROLE
I’m a trained Recovery Coach and someone who has lived the gap between rehab and real life.
I don’t position myself as an expert above you.
I walk beside you with structure, direction, and accountability.
Everything inside Primal Recovery is built from lived experience, professional training, and the understanding that men recover differently when strength and responsibility are part of the process.

THE PRIMAL RECOVERY APPROACH
Primal Recovery is built around a simple principle:
Sobriety is the foundation — not the destination.
The work is about building a life that makes relapse less relevant because you are grounded, disciplined, and connected.
That happens through:
Daily structure
Physical movement
Honest conversation
Purposeful living
Brotherhood

START WHERE YOU ARE
Most men don’t need fixing.
They need direction.
If my story resonates, the best place to begin is inside the Primal Recovery Tribe
A structured community for men who want accountability, strength, and connection without pretence.
